Here are a few photos sent to me from a relative that visited Brazos Bend in Texas. Not sure the species of these birds. Identification will give you something to do during a cold winters night.
I would like some help. I found this bundle of twigs on a tree in Nova Scotia. This bundle is about 2 ft across and was about 3 to 5 ft above the ground. I do not know what it is. It was near the water but not directly on shore. If you know what it is, please leave a comment on one of the pictures.
We have had the great opportunity to have a licensed owl bander set up nets and capture and band owls at the Allegheny Front. Here are some albums taken of the owl banding submitted by our friends.
Photos, submitted by Deb, taken as the Westmoreland Bird club had an outing at the Allegheny Front. They went to an owl banding and I put those photos in an album in the owl banding gallery.
